Have been using Nero for mainly the ROM cue/bin burn to VCD, Nerovision for converting and burning DVD's and general data burning to CD and DVD. Have had spasmodic problems over time and wonder if there is an alternative package to do similar tasks? Or individual progs to handle especially the convert/burn of AVI's etc to dvd in one step?
Here are your NERO alternatives: DVD alternative: For converting use VSO DivxtoDVD and for burning use Imgburn both programs are freeware. VSO will convert the AVI files and IMG Burn will burn files from a folder output from VSO DivXtoDVD (if it fits on a single layer) Run ImgBurn Mode > 'Build' Output > 'Device' File > 'Browse for Folder', highlight on the 'VIDEO_TS' folder, > 'OK' Click the green write button. CD burning alternative: Use CDBurnerXP Pro v3.0.116 another freeware program and a great all in one CD burner.
