hi again, i have an acer 16x 10x 40x burner, and it worked fine before i reformatted my computer last time. after that, whenever i used blindwrite, it couldnt extract sub channel data,as it kept freezing. it could extract subcodes before, and i had tried alcohol 120% and ended up with the same problem. thanks to some kind help in this forum, i tried clone cd. it worked fine, extracting subchannel data. i heard somewhere that clone cd didnt use an aspi layer, so i thought it was a problem with that. i used nero info tools (thanks shoey) and it said the aspi was fine.i reinstalled it, but the same problem kept happening with blindwrte and alcohole. i stuck with clone cd, but now clone cd freezes when trying to extract subchannel data from data tracks. it works fine when extracting data from audio tracks. thanks for the help, Dilmah
wait, all of a sudden it worked, audio and data subchannel data extracting when i was extracting age of empires 1 (as a test) and it worked with the bad boys 2 vcd disk 2, but it could only extract audio with disc 1. unreal tournament didnt extract any. none of these cds need subcodes extracted. what do u tink is wrong? thanks 4 all your help dilmah
