sound became scratchy

    Hi everyone

    I need help.. I just installed Nero 7 Essential.

    This is my 1st time burning avi files into dvd+rw using Nero 7. I followed all the useful screencaps provided by alkohol but when I click on the play button at the preview page, the sound of my clip became scratchy.. sounds as though I'm pressing on the fast forward button.

    Did I miss out sometime during the installation or I've done something wrongly? Please help...

    It may be the sound codecs that are installed. The Nero preview thing sucks for the most part. Is the sound OK when you burn to disk?

    I've just downloaded the updated version v7.10.1.0
