Risks are minimal IF you use some sense.. Don't go deleting ANY files you are unsure of.. especially in E:/dash .. and also applies for C:/ never go to the "live" screens on any games, they have a way to update dash files.. and always.. ALWAYS transfer your eeprom backup files, and the entire contents of C:/ and E:/dashboard.. or E:/backup to your pc.. I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH.. get those backups safe.. burn them on a once only cd and put them away safe and secure. It will save a lot of headaches and stress if anything ever goes wrong.
