I've tried various ways to install a softmod on my xbox. No dice.
I have one xbox that was modded by a friend and I've tried pulling the saves from that xbox and putting them on the memory card and then trying to use that save on the Virgin xbox.
    NOTHING.
I tried downloading a couple different save games to use, Pal and NTSC both.
    NOTHING.
I don't want to dink around with cords that much to make a USB key capable of being used on an xbox.
I know I could get an original xbox memory card and it would probably work fine but they dont sell them around here.

I'm asking you how I could make the small save game I've heard about that just allows you to FTP into your xbox and transfer the save games. My AR memory card only corrupts big files ( SID 4 ) I could try this small way and FTP across my SID 4, then reboot using that save game.

    I'm using Splinter Cell.

Please reply I am getting very desperate.

I know how to transfer it.
What I'm telling you is it's corrupting on my memory card and I'm looking for the small game save exploit so I can gain FTP access.

    Please help =(

Are you inserting the memory card into the modded Xbox, opening an FTP link, FTPing directly into the memory card (i:\)and dropping the files????

I would try getting a new memory card and from scratch load the installer on the card run splinter cell install, then reboot and when in evox ftp the saves onto your xbox directly. I would like to help more but at the moment my xbox is sorted messed up and I can't remember all the exact locations.

Thanks for the replies everyone. No I wasn't directly ftping to the card while it was connected to my xbox.
I just added it to my saved game database on my xbox and manually copied it to the card from the M$ Dashboard. I'll maybe try that way and see if theres a difference.

    Wish me luck.
