i bought an IBM thinkpad type 2465 off ebay. It worked fine for the first 6 months. However recently a rather serious problem has occurred. Every time i try to start the laptop, it stops me from accessing the desktop and all my documents. Instead it comes up with a screen saying that I have a problem with my thinkpad. It states an error code '00301'. Now the only two options i have are to 'test' or 'restart'. the test takes hours and still does absolutely nothing to help me decipher whats wrong, or even repair whats wrong. So i cannot access my of the documents on my laptop, I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out.
The error has been known to be a keyboard problem. Maybe you have one or more keys stuck down? Check each key out and then try booting up again.
