I'm really new at this, so please help me out. I want to buy the sony ericsson w850i in England. How can i get it to work over here in the US? For some reason, we don't have a good selection of quality phones over here. Will i be able to use all its functions? I am using t-mobile and i found it on the UK t-mobile website. what do i need to do?

The phone itself will physically work in the US as it is a tri Band phone and is available in the US from Sear, Cellular and others(according to various web sites).

If you got it from T-Mobile, then it will be locked to T-Mobile. I would think that if you got it unlocked, then it should work okay. I'm asumming that the internet and other online functions should work once you subscribe to a US mobile operator.

As for the charger, my SE W880i charger and all other chargers I have seen all work anywhere between 100-240V AC 50/60Hzwork so it is just a case of getting a plug adaptor or buying a charger in the US.
