First pc build problems.

    I recently purchased multiple parts which includes an asus sli socket am2. AMD athlon x2 5400+, 2 7950gt oc 256mb. 1 gig of ram, 600 watts of power. Every time I power up the pc it will begin to beep in 2's. Also there is no screen getting to the mobo.

    who makes the bios as in award, ami or what? try 1 videocard at a time. disconnect all cables to drives. if more then 1 stick of ram then try 1 at a time.

    Sounds like the ram is in the wrong slot to me but i would suggest you check your bios to ensure that the settings are set to multiple craphic cards as well.
