I just compared my backup copy I did with dvdfab hd decrypter to the original disc it seems the very beginning is cut out where he picks out the blond kid from the orphange. I tried Anydvd first and Shrink wouldn't even analyse the disc. (I used a Maxell disc)

I tried Anydvd and Clonedvd2 and it says DVD structure in wrong. It told me to put a fully mastered dvd in the drive. It seems like mine is missing something. Probably new copy protection scheme.

The thread in the Shrink forum explains how to do this one. It is
as simple as using RipIt4Me. When the destination directory comes
up remove the two small arrows in the file title. Everything will
work perfectly after that. Copied the whole disc with no problem.
If you want movie only-use the 3rd title. The first two are bogus.

    using DVD neXt COPY
    Charlie

    Blades Of Glory
This title can be done with or without the machinist. However you need to edit the title when you click new. I will post 2 screens on this and label them accordingly. DVD neXt COPY XPress will not do this title right now unless you can edit the title as I show here. All you have to do by looking at the screen shots is remove the < > around the title.

    Normal default title ( won't work )

Edited title that will allow you to back this title up.

this can also do the above movie

    Got it to work.

    I used DVDFAB HD
    Then used DVDShrink to shrink
Then used Clonedvd2 to burn it from image files to DVD.

    Works great.

    No, FREE is Best:

DvdFab Hd Decrypter then Dvd Shrink and ImgBurn to burn it on a disc.

Get ready for the storm of people telling you how they dont trust Shrink when main movie only gets to 90% or less. Transcoder vs. encoder,
most people agree free is NOT always best, but can be easiest.

personally, I prefer to have both pay and free programs available and able to use at will. I typically use pay, but in some cases (this one for instance) free is the one that did the job... definitely not always though.

I ripped with dvdfab HD and burnt using clonedvd. Perfect backup.

res2cue---I agree, I've seen enough flame wars over "the best way" to attempt not to go there.
I have not attempted this movie, havent cared enough to purchase it, but I do read threads about problem films so I had to chime in.

I finally got it with DvdFab beta 3176 and it plays perfectly full disc too.

Slysoft really missed the boat on this one it's now Thursday and still no updates. DvdFab updated twice and on the second try they got it. I just uninstalled Anydvd I have no use for it anymore looks like DVDFab is the better one and it's FREE. I'm glad I never wasted my money on Clonedvd.

As for me, I will continue to use AnyDVD, CloneDVD2 and CloneCD. All my Slysoft Products. Anyone here that has these knows this: It is RARE for them to miss a title, very, very Rare! One movie out of hundreds, even maybe thousands is not a bad record. I will also use DVDFab Decryper too.As it DID "save the day" on this title. One can never have too many tools in your toolbox! Slysoft WILL break this title. Give em time people.

I agree 100% bunny, even the best can have problems sometimes, but you can bet it will be a long time before they make this mistake again.
