i know this might be a dump question, but i really want to ask before i make any purchase.

with a USB 2.0 external hard disk, is it fast enough that i can use like photoshop, or video editing software to edit the files that is on the external hard disk directly? or i have to edit the files in the internal hard disk and then move the files to external hard disk as a extra storage space?

    Thanks!

I wouldnt see why not... The external HDD might be a bit sower though, becasue it's a usb HDD. Should be fine though for photoshop. Just dont try running winxp or Vista on there.
