I'm trying to convert this non-anamorphic DVD into anamorphic. I'm using DVD Rebuilder and I selected No Compression (since the original DVD size is only 3,88 GB) and in AVS Expert Options I selected Convert from LB 4:3 to 16:9. However, the resulting DVD is still non-anamorphic. What am I doing wrong?
That's going to be difficult to do. In my experience if a program does convert from anamorphic, it squeezes (aka distorts) the picture and adds black bars. The picture has already been cut off in production to fit a 4:3 tv, pretty much locking it in that way.
