About 1 month after getting my RAM and DVD drive upgraded, and windows reinstalled, every time I boot my computer up, it gets to the BIOS splash screen, it freezes and gets no further. The keyboard freezes so I can't enter the BIOS setup. My USB hub receives power and so does everything else. All the fans are spinning and have eliminated the possibility of the CPU getting fried. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The system has worked at all since the upgrade? Any beeps at start up other than the single beep? Any attempts at overclocking? Any software just added (Anything, no mater how small) or EXE file that may have looked stranged when you opened it?

How many memory moduals do you have? Take them all out then put one back in at a time to see if the system will boot without the others. Disconnect the new DVD just to see if it will boot without it.
