I just built a new PC with its own hard drive. Now, when I take my old hard drive and plug it in as a slave drive, any attempt at accessing the files in the hard drive results in the pop-up that asks to reformat it. I don't want to do this cause i'll lose all my files. So I bought an enclosure. Plugged it in via USB and i got the same problem. it sees the drive but any attempt to open it will prompt me to reformat. any suggestions/help?
I think the only way to do that is to reformat it, unfortunatly. Does this happen with other computers too?
