Missing Codec in VirtualDub

Hey Everyone,

First time here. I'm attempting to hardcode subtitles into a AVI file using the the guide "Adding subtitles to any .avi file", posted on the site. When I get to the compression procedure, I'm using VirtualDub 1.16.8, the suggested Codec is missing. How do I install or ? the Codec to complete the procedure.

You mean the XVid Codec ?

Thanks for your quick response. Yes the XVid Codec.

Since then I have downloaded the correct Codec. Works fine.

Can't figure out what happened to the one I had.
