I searched but little help please i have a nec dvd-rw3540-a on a gateway windows xp my prob is i was trying to burn a cd all of a sudden it stopped and said power supply insuffient or something like that so i tried again same message. now wont read any cds at all will play and read dvd not cd also when i click on the drive icon with no disk inside it will still open up please help nero wont read cd even if its in the drive P.S i read about deleteing driver which is ok will it detect my dvd-rw ALL BY ITSELF
Figured it out the cd laser went dead i have 2 lasers in my drive one for dvd and one for dvd thanks anyway.....
