Missing Channels 06/09/07 Solution.

Starview users an autoscan will pick them up at the end of your list.



Eurovox users.Edit the 387.000 and 395.000 frequencies to 394.000 and 402.000 on your frequency list, (Transponder List).Then do a manual scan on 394.000 and 402.000. This is for N** areas.

 

Have NTL had something to do with the handful of channels going off ? i.e UKGold+1,More4+1,Living TV +1 etc it seemed to only affect the plus one's and 4 actual channels,just did an automatic scan to get them back.

 

This is to help Eurovox owners also as they have changed TP frequencies.

 

Ah right,well on Starview today all the plus ones and a handful of channels weren't coming in,I had to do an automatic scan as I said above to get them back.
I compared the newly scanned channels to the origianl ones which were dead and the frequencies were different,wonder why NTL only changed a few of the channels frequencies.

 

I have done a manual reset but only 36 channels came in. Im in dublin and I have NTL.

Do a factory reset and then do an autoscan that should sort it.

I have auto scanned mine a couple of times and its only picking up 27 channels. Also a friend scanned his and its picking up a load of channels with numbers in em and a few which say "Interactive, Guide, Radio, On Demand" in Nthell Dublin, true cable.

 

Even the subbed boxes are glitching a bit Mick. Strange ones your mate is picking up it might be area dependent or work may be still ongoing, sorry I have to leave for a while. I will make a few calls and see what I can find out. Not telling you how to suck eggs Mick but have you tried a factory reset then turn off the box from the back switch for a minute and then go throught the installation process again, you know how picky these SVs can be Cya gotta go.

 

left it off for a while, then scanned, in they came, but I have a rake of CDL channels and the interactive, on demand, guide etc etc. Dub community and Setanta 2 still missing from the line up after the auto scan. seems we got one or two extra radio stations. TV X aint woriing wither after the scan......

 

Those CDL channels and the interactive, on demand, guide etc are in the NTL pipeline so to speak but are just lying dormant at the moment,nobody knows what's going to become of them.
I had to auto scan my box today 3 time to get all the 'dead' channels back,keep autoscanning it will eventually pick up Setanta 2.
My TV X isn't working either even after it came back when I did the autoscan,don't know what the story is with it.

 

Any one missing the Celtic channel also on the auto scan?

 

Mick I can pick that up on 394.000 after I changed down 1 Mhzs yesterday.

 

mmm, must be area specific so, I am in Sth Dub - Clondalkin direction, done the scan on that freq and nowt, gonna give it a bash when I get home see if it comes back. Cheers for the help scouse.

 

eurovox red, not picking anything up at all on 387,395 and now 379? anyone any pointers?

 

394.000 is failing on manual and auto scan. 402.000 is gettng channels, still no setanta 2 nor celtic, rangers etc etc - pulling my wig out at this stage

where u based stpats? it maybe an area thing rathur than city wide problem. I am in clondalkin area - u?

 

im in the finglas area and got celtic tv and setanata 2 on 395.000. try that!!
