am-2 socket cpu cooliing

    i own a coolermaster hyper 48 and the specs only say k8 939 & 940 i am runing a amd 5200 on a gigabyte ga-m55sli-s4 rev 2.0 am-2
    my local comp shop says it wil fit but i dont want to go to all that trouble to find out it wont fit
    if any one has experiennce with these matters or an opinion i would be much obliged

    It should fit... If your pc shop says it will, then it most likely will. Besides, its not that hard to put a heatsink on...

    the only way to get that to fit would be to tak a drill to the board
