MSN Messenger unstable?

    Everytime i exit a conversation the whole program shuts off and then i get a pop-up sayin there was an error or something and then it gives u an option to send or not too.. i tried both it does nothing. i tried deleting, redownloading and installing and it does the same thing!

    anyone have a solution? thanks

    I would strongly recommend Adium, it's the best messenger program for mac IMO.

    MSN Messenger AFAIK hasn't been updated for forever, and absolutely nobody I know uses it anymore.

    I used to use aMSN all the time (still do in Windows) and had to get used to Adium but it really is pretty damn good.

    Yea I was jsut telling the girlfriend the same thing a tip: I jsut minimize all my windows But for you that might be hard since you have alot of contacts or something.. I only use it for her so its no big deal.

    i'd recommend adium it works fine hardly crash and very light application unlike windows msn and amsn, they're heavier program thus prone to crashing. Besides that using adium is fun u can change all u want plugins background the contact list font background and many more. Just go to www.adiumx.com u'll find something better that what u r using right now :)

    I had the same problem... I fixed it by deleting everything linked to and and re-installing it... I used spotlight and searched for Messenger and found files every where that were linked to Microsoft Messenger.. Once I cleaned those up and re installed it it worked beautifully
