my slave HD isn't showing up in my "my computer" icon

when i click on "my computer" my 300 gig HD isn't showing up there, but it is in my bios and in my device manager. how do i get the icon to be in "my computer"

 

by the way it isn't a fresh install, it was working before, but now the icon for the HD is gone from the "my computer"

 

Check the hardware manager and disk management for the drive. There may be a fault with it, or there may be a conflict with another drive letter. Disk management (diskmgmt.msc) can change that.

 

well i went into the disk management and its not there...

 

Are you sure there's no symbol next to it in device manager that shows a problem?

and you're sure it doesn't come up in diskmgmt.msc ?
