Slave Hard Drive

    ok. when i go to "my computer" and i Only See the C: disk and not D:/E: and i know it is hook up right because is shows up when i boot up my computer it shows the IDE list and it is the Slave.

    Is this slave drive new? If so (I'm presuming it's a hard disk) then it needs to be formatted before it'll appear in My computer. Go to disk management (start-> Run -> diskmgmt.msc)
