Wow, maybe that's why my system is stressing on a 500watt PSU. os XION a good brand for a PSU?

    No.
I doubt they're the worst, but suffice to say I don't see them being used often, they're not that expensive, and I've never recommended one to anyone.

    Stick with the following brands

Thermaltake: TR2 and Toughpower series only
    Seasonic: S-12, M-12 series
    Corsair: any
    Antec: TruePower Trio, Earthwatts
    Enermax: Liberty, Galaxy
    Tagan: Dualengine, Turbojet
    OCZ: Stealthxstream, GameXStream
If I can think of any others I'll add them to the list, or if anybody can recommend me one, maybe I might put it here.

As for which one I'd recommend, it's got to be the Corsair HX 520W. Near-silent under any reasonable load, and stable.

The thing to note here is that people buy high rated power supplies because their previous one isn't keeping up, or they think it isn't. Usually that's not because they're using all 500W, they'll probably be using only 200, but the power supply can't put out any more than 200W despite being rated for over double that figure.

I know you don't like Ultra but some of their products are getting good reviews. Like the one I use, it seems to be fine.

A lot of Ultra PSUs I saw got bad rep, so I kind of avoided them, but I've heard nothing but positives about the XVS700 yet, what are your voltages?

How do my voltages look for a XION 500W PSU?

The speedfan voltages are messed up so don't use them. The voltages for the xion psu are pretty low, and xion don't make very good power supplies anyway, I'd recommend you change it.

With what I have in the system, would a 350W Antec PSU work b/c I have that laying around. Also, are there any problems if I continue to use my XION PSU?

Sam, so what else do I use to check? I have everest ultimate but I haven't used it all that much. Will it report them?

Yeah, everest reports everything, usually reliably. The values aren't always the right way round, but apply a bit of common sense and you'll realise which one's which.

core2kid: I don't know what your system specs are, so I couldn't say if the 350W Antec would work or not. All I would say is that if you continue using the xion unit it may one day break and take the rest of your PC with it in sparks, smoke and flames. Don't think it's an extreme case, it happens very often - as that article shows, buy any one of those power supplies and use them in a high power system and they will fail every time, guaranteed.

The +12v is a bit low, but within limits.
