hi i have a computer with windows ME on it and i wanted to upgrade it to windows xp. i was up to the part where it said installing devices and all of a sudden the moniter went black exect for one square where the mouse pointer was. i replugged the pc power and when i turned it on nothing shows up. the light is green and i can hear the sound of a picture coming on but nothing shows up.
If you are using a DVI adapter, try replacing it or try to use the monitor on a different pc or a different monitor on the pc.
