I know I can't remove subtitles that I recorded from TV, but any way to hide them? I usually use Media Player Classic, but I can BS Player PRO or any other freeware program if you tell me web-addres where to find it.
    Help, PLEAAAAAAAAAAAASE!

You do not have a lot of options to fix the problem.

    - One way is to add another subtitle with solid/dark background around text. That will overshadow original subtitles and new subtitles are displayed. For that you would have to use a program that deals with subtitles. Thre are few freewares floating around.

    - If you are not adding new subtitles, one option is to cut the picture and remove old subtitles all together. For that you can also use couple free utilities available out there.

I tried it but I don't know how to set the frame around the subtitle to be black or "half-transparent". Can Media Player Classic or BS Player PRO do it?
    THANKS

Well, for advanced subtitling you should not be using programs you just mentioned. There are far better tools with more advanced capabilities. Read and explore. Knowledge is a virtue!
