VHS to DVD conversion

    I want to copy one of my commercial VHS (PAL) tapes to DVD so I can eatch it while I am on a plane. Th eproblem is that the finshed result flashes and distorts, presumably because of some anti copy protection. Is their any way around this?

    If the tape uses copy protection, use a copy protection remover in between the vhs deck and your DVD recorder/PC. There are many on the market.
