Is there a wireless card that I can buy to get wireless online to work I currently have belkin wireless but I can't play PC games or PS2 games online with it so if there is one direct to to it thinks in advance.
If it's a wireless router (which it almost certainly is) then it will be firewalled. Find out which ports are required by your applications then unblock them in the router's control panel. Go to http://www.portforward.com for advice on specific routers and applications.
So you don't have a router or modem of your own, do you wirelessly break into someone else's broadband?
Well yeah I get cennection from my landlord downstars and like I sed before I have a router but don't use it so yeap.
You will need a switch to share the internet between two devices (e.g. PC and PS2) so either get a 4-port switch or use your router.
Hi, If I understand your posts correctly you get a wireless signal from another location. You have a belkin usb adapter you use with a pc. The only way you can connect with a router is with a wireless adapter like you have. Adding another router will do nothing since it needs a ethernet or usb patch to receive signal. There are wireless access points which will recieve a wireless signal and transmit also but they are horribly expensive and I have never seen one for home use. The easiest way to get online is to run a patch cable from the router downstairs to your router. You will have to configure for DHCP OFF. so you don't get conflicts....I believe this is the cheapest way to solve your problem.
Lol I wish I could do that but I don't think my landlord will let me runn a ethernet cable through his house but thinks for the tip and I was thinking of asking him tho.

Why not....your his tenant! I assume the internet is part of the arrangement that you are paying for!! You can also try a Super G wireless adapter which has extended range and 108mbs transmission. The patch cable is the best and cheapest........good luck
How close is your PC to your PS2? Could always just have that Wireless adapter plugged into your PC via USB than your PS2 connected to PC via Ethernet and just bridge the connections.
