Hi! Today I re-formatted my computer, isntalling a fresh copy of Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 on my cmputer. Now everything is back to normal except for one thing - my sound card. It will not play sound. When I try to play a song in Windows Media Player I get this error message: My sound card worked perferctly beforehand, so it mustve become uninstalled when I put a fresh copy of XP on there. This is what my Device Manager looks like: And this is what my Sound Properties looks like: Hope I have provided enough details for you to help me out. I have already tried a Windows Update and that still doesnt help. If you can, please do so asap. Thanks heaps, look forward to your comments.
Yeah you don't have ANY drivers installed. I bet that your webpages scroll chopilly too. If you don't have a drivers cd your motherboard manufacturer will have them on the website.
Ok, well I have a Dell Dimension 3100, can someone please give me a link to their drivers because I went to the Dell website, found my computer model and there is a whole list and I dont know which one to download. Thankyou
