With burned data on the cd-r it should launch on any cd-rom. Depends on what type of "data" is on the cd-r m8. If it's a Safedisc 2.9 burned pc game (The Sims Superstar), the pc game must be burned with a "2 sheep burner". I despise cd-rw's so I'm not much of any help on this one m8. Shoey
