Been searching the net for weeks looking for a laptop to buy for about £350. As my computer knowledge only goes so far, i cant really decide between 6 laptops i have chosen. I would be greatful if somebody could point out the best etc and why. Thanks. http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/pi/27-887195/Laptop-Computers/Acer-5051AWXMi-Product-Info http://www.acernotebooks.co.uk/Acer_Aspire_5052AWXMi_LX.AV40X.022/version.asp?refsource=Adwords http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/st...u=203886&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/pi/27-...5.4-DVDRW-Win-Vista-Home-Premium-Product-Info http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/product.do?sku=400939&tab=specification#spec http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/product.do?sku=407151&tab=specification#spec Thanks for your time.
You've already asked us this. Even with the new links, my decision is the same, either the 5051 or 5052 by Acer. If you're not happy with the advice we gave then say so, rather than just posting again.
I have removed and added links from the previous one. I am happy with the advice but looking for more advice on this one. If you had to choose, which acer would you chose ?
it's 2years since i bought my (most powerful) laptop (new), i've been buying mostly older desktops and laptops in that time so i'm not overly current on what the latest hardware's capable of; i'll have a look at your 6 choices though, however i'm guessing Sam knows more than me about which is the best to buy..
Decided that im going to spend £400 on a laptop and try and get one with a duel processor. Anybody any ideas etc ? All help is appreciated. thanks
Hmm, you can do that, I mean this one (http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/product.do?sku=407151&tab=specification#spec) has a dual core processor, but it won't be able to play games.
