Depends upon which card you have? And the set up you choose.

What type I would go with the C-1500 HD as it already has the BDA drivers.

TT c-1500 without HD. The HD option is only a additionally delivered codec told me the dealer.

Yes but you still need the BDA drivers http://www.technotrend.com/2692/Tools___Downloads.html.

From a hardware and driver point of view, C-1500 and C-1500 HD are the same. TT has added the ability to process HD channels in software by adding CyberLink decoders to the package and making use of them in the TT Media Centre, their TV viewer software.

You can watch HD channels with C-1500, however you will have to use a third party software supporting HD, just like DVBViewer for example. And you of course need a H.264 HD decoder, just like the one from CyberLink that comes bundled with the C-1500 HD.

If you want to use MediaPortal, just make sure it supports H.264 and that the decoder filter is customisable.

C-1500 comes with BDA drivers. So the card should work with all applications support BDA hardware designs.

I have a Technotrend DVB-C card and are using it with DVBviewer to watch VM in London. The problem I have is after a full frequency scan from 1000 to 1000000Mhz some channels are missing like Sports 2, Setanta and SD1. Also the movie channels don't work properly, the're all jumpy except for SD2 wich is fine.

    Any ideas?

If the frequencies are right maybe the cable signal is too strong or too weak.
