Firewire drop.

    Hi there

    Can anyone help me at all. For some reason, I seem to have lost my firewire connection with my DV camera. If I got to About This Mac, More Info, Firewire, it just says Firewire Bus but no info whereas it used to say something about 400 mbits speed. What has happened here? Anyone know.

    I would be grateful to any information to enable me to get back to editing my movies of the baby.

    Can we get a screenshot of Profiler? What comp do you have?

    Hi - yes - my machine is an iMac G5 running OSX 10.4.10. It has actually stopped all together now and won.t come on so it has gone for repair. Thanks
