ram question

    Ok, can you run a pair of pc6400 1GB sticks in duel channel, and then have a pair of 1GB pc3200 sticks run in duel channel at the same time? That would be 4 gigs.

    Just wonduring...

    Nope, because the PC3200 you have is DDR1, and PC6400 is DDR2. Unless you have a motherboard that supports both (very few do) then you won't be able to do it. Different technology, different number of pins, different voltage.

    Ok then thanks. I just wanted to know that for the upgrade, to see if I could recycle some of my ram.
