Hi slee , I cant remember what location you are in

Have you turned the EMU ON , Press Menu 1570 to turn it on

If you are in the UK , there have been some changes with codes

Check the latest codes out here

As you have a clone, install the 2.57 fixed firmware, this will autoroll the keys the next time they change. Get it
from the eko site at the end of my post, it's in the Starview -> Firmware directory. While you are there, go to
the Starview -> Documentation directory, and get the SV Update Guide and STARVIEW_HELP_GUIDE.doc.

I have to leave soon so briefly the ---- on the front of the box usual indicates a bad flash. Have you tried to flash the box recently? How come you can see your codes if it is stuck in standby?

slee, you only flash it with the 2.57 FIXED file. The SV Update Guide is a word document, you need to open this in a word processor to read, it is a guide to doing the update.
This is what has caused your bad flash, as you tried to flash your starview with something that won't work.

Once again, only flash it with the 2.57 FIXED file.

That sounds like another success story alright. Just remember to turn on the emu when finished, or you
will still be getting the bad or scrambled message, or whatever it is.
Press MENU, then 1570, go down to the last entry 'Key EMU', press the right arrow to turn it on, then press exit 3 times to get back to normal tv. Select a scrambled channel to make sure it is working.
