    hi, hope im in the right place for this.

    Im looking to buy a nice HDTV Antenna for out HD-LCD tv's, we have 2. Just wondering if anyone knows which one of these 2 would be better.

    1. Winegard,HD-8800,PR8800,8Bay,HDTV & UHF,TV antenna

    2. Terrestrial Digital DB8 - Multidirectional HDTV Antenna

    Curious if this would work for channels 2-13 and the rest.

    Thanks = )

    Those look to me like fringe area arrays. Do you live a long way (+40 miles) from the transmitter? If not you will probably be better off with a standard UHF antenna otherwise you will be risking overloading, agc lockout and cross channel interference on the picture. These are high gain devices.

    Both ebay item listings give lots of info if you take the time to read it and look up any terms you don't understand.. like for instance the fact that channel 12 may be normally broadcast on VHF, but if HD then will usually be up in the UHF band. The channel numbers themselves mean nothing.. it's the actual frequency that matters. ;-)

    Check out the ARRL handbook for more info...

    theres no such thing as a HD Antenna any rooftop Antenna pulls in a HD signal as long as its broadcast in HD most locals are at this point

    how far are you from a city where its broadcasted from?

    i got mine at raidoshack for about 60 or 70 bucks, its usally all you need
