I am having a slight problem with jerky playback on an AVI(Xvid) file that I converted to DVD using ConvertX, my problem is that for the most part playback is smooth, it is only when the camera pans that the playback becomes slightly jerky. As I said it is nothing major but still quite annoying I am hoping somebody can help me out.

I am relatively new to the whole video converting so please let me know if there is any other info I have left out.

I have found the problem, quite obvious when I think about it I was converting NTSC to PAL which caused the jerkyness keeping ConvertX on auto has solved the problem.

The 'Automatic' setting on ConvertX ensures that the source and output type match.
Source is PAL then output DVD will be PAL.
Source is NTSC then output DVD will be NTSC.
This is a potential problem for DVD players which cannot handle one of the formats.
