Soundcard won't fit in PCI slot

    I bought a soundcard with a PCI Express interface. Unfortunately my computer only has a traditional 16-bit PCI slot. Do I have any other options other than sending it back & getting another card?

    By the way I need a sound card with a digital out interface. I can't seem to find one that fits a 16-bit PCI slot.

    You will need to send it back. PCIe is not backwards compatible with PCI. Sorry....
