well as you see it's not that bad for regular games like cs or nfs years ago but now i want to play bioshock downloaded the demo before buying it on steam cuz that what i use. but when i played it Lame lame graphics i even put it to slow and no sensation so i just closed it and here i am.
i lookep up on newegg for the 6800gs from nvidia wich is like 150 with 256ddr3 but will that be enough?? or will i have to buy another processor cuz 3.0gz are running for 60 or 70 on eba, i'm asking cuz i want to order them before i get there , i don't to have any problem with some delay or something since i'm only gonna be there for a week or two. ANy suggestion on another card or should i buy a greater card and just leave the 2.4??

I don't know what options you have in Peru, but i have two concerns.

    1. The 6800GS is an old card, and isn't very powerful nowadays, can you find any of these?
    8600GTS
    X1900GT
    X1950 Pro
    X1950GT
    X1950XT
    7950GT
    HD2600XT

    2. Is your power supply up to the job? If you can let me know what rating and what brand it is, I can tell you whether or not you should keep it. A lot of cheap power supplies can go very bad when you add more components to a PC.

"A good one" isn't really enough, many people think they have good power supplies and then find out otherwise when they end up torching their house.
