There is no specific part that I am stuck on. I have been trying every idea that has been thrown out there and just need some ideas from the start of the process to the end of the process.
Bueller....Bueller......Nueller! Y do I get the idea that I am speaking a foreign language anytime I ask for any kind of help on these forums? But I see some of the dumbest questions know to man asked and those people get like 20 replies to their dumb ass questions? Once again I ask, what the hell happened to this forum!?
It's hard to say without some specifics. You say it doesn't install, where does it stop, or is it at random points? I have had no issues. I bought it the day of release and have installed it on my desktop, laptop, and teenage son's desktop. The only thing unusual about the install is where it has to download the executable from the activation server - it's not on the DVD at all. The only issue I have had with it is when I tried to use the FLT executable so I wouldn't have to keep the DVD in the drive and it would crash all the time until I reverted to the original exe.
Since No one is catching on here i'll spell it out! I am working with a backed up copy of the game and need info on how to install that version.
me too, but i did everything..and i got problems....the install went fine... but then after 5 minutes the screen froze.. my cpu or gpu fan increases...and then my rig shuts down and then restarts....anyone tell me what happened? is it my cpu or gpu? do i have a virus?? or what?? the same happened with medal of honor airborne...i applied the crack and everything went fine..... but i was playing a halo game and that went fine...can anyone help?? i got a e2180 cpu oc'ed to 2.560 and a gpu 8600gt by palit/xpertvision.. 2 gigz of ram and 160 hd...... running xp pro...anyone can help??
Have you updated the windows files that need to be updated? On some of the torrent sites that I have checked for directions they mention updating certain windows files to be able to run the game. Here is a quote from one of them: "The Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) installs runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries required to run applications developed with Visual C++ on a computer that does not have Visual C++ 2005 installed"
