    i have another question i read about this thing called the alky project so that people can run dx10 on xp i was wondering if it is good/ worthi it and if i would be able to use online dx 10 games with this like crysis

    also is it better to get a 2900 pro or 8800gts

    There'd probably be a performance hit from that, but I dunno how much. If you can get the 640MB of the 8800GTS get that, if that's too much, don't get the 320MB, get the HD2900 pro instead.

    It's still only an Alpha, so I wouldn't expect great things of it. However, I'm not moving to Vista any time soon, so something like this is quite welcome. I'm not desperate for it yet though, since even the proper DX10 doesn't support Anti-Aliasing yet. Once it does, I'll see if they've got further.
