I have an xbox v1.0 I installed crazy Ndure's softmod using Splinter Cell, and installed the unleashX dashboard. This all went fine and I currently load straight to unleashX. I then loaded my AID 4.1.0 DVD and tried to install xboxmc. The install got to 45% then froze and came up with a blank error and then wouldn't finish installing. I am lost at this point now, I don't know how to get xboxmc loaded onto the machine. I have aquired THSC's version of xboxmc, as well as another version. How do I go about getting them to install? FTP? or am I in trouble because it would not install from AID 4.1.0? I have a tech background, but I am a total newb to doing this. I have searched and read many forums, but I have yet to find something that touches on this issue. PLS forgive and PLS help!!!
If AID is failing then there is a problem with the disc, not the Xbox! Get a new AID and start the install again! Once it installs, you can simply overwrite the XBMC files with the new T3CH files via FTP!
