Unlocking the T629 with a code is not a viable method as everybody in the forums that has tried it has locked their phone up . i believe as it has always been you need to unlock it via a box and cable . or call your service provider the will give you the code . I know T Mobile does it but you have to have been with them for a set time .

You can only unlock this phone by cable therefore you need an original samsung cable and get an account on the samsung remote server at http://www.UnlockSamsungOnline.nl download the client, select your phone and press unlock then wait 15 seconds and your phone is unlocked. you can also press read codes, and enter hem manual on the phone the client will give you back the unlockcodes of your phone, directly decoded out the phone itself
yes thats correct, these new phones are using msl security, it's a new security algo from samsung, so it cannot be unlocked with codes or something.. you always have to use the cable the phone can be unlocked with an unlockbox or with the samsung server.. since you have only one phone an box is not a good option (349 euro) so the server is the best method
