hey there forum i got the urge to play diablo 2. so i pull it out, do the setup, i enter the cd key and after that it asks me to install in its directory which is /program files/diablo2 once i press ok it gives me this error "Error in script file SetupDat\inst.ins, line 14: undefined symbol (desktop)" please try to solve this error or give me any reccomendation. i have done the compatibility of xp on both exe's on the disc and nothing just comes back with this error. i have installed this on another vista pc and it installs fine there i have vista ultimate and virtual pc doesnt work ive done these techniques only please help!
I recently tried installing Diablo II again also on my laptop with vista and got the same exact error message. Does anyone know how to fix it??
