Hi Guys, I purchased the above telly from my local store in dublin(powercity) roughly 2months ago. Everything was going grand with it until about 2 days ago I noticed a bright red dot on the screen roughly the size of a pin head. Upon closer inspection it looks like it may be a dead or stuck pixel. I have turned the telly on and off, brought the temperature in the room down etc etc but its still there. I am going to contact my supplier first thing on Monday morning but just reading through other forums and this one some people are saying that they might not replace it because the manufacturer has an acceptable limit of pixel failure. Is this true for Samsung? In my opinion thats a load of crap but im just afraid that my supplier might turn around and say tough luck. I have also read on this forum somewhere that you can hook up a laptop to ur screen and run a program on it that fires different colours at the screen and it can sometimes revive the dead pixel. Does this work? If so does anyone have a noob guide for it
