I have a old 20gb ipod that doesn't work to well. i was wondering if its possible to somehow hook up the hd from the ipod to my pc...not thru the ipod though. directly pc to hd. or is it possible to put the hd in my pc itself? and not use it as an external.
Unfortunately neither are possible. While the connection may or may not be possible, the hard disk would be too small to permanently attach anywhere in your PC. I can only recommend you either replace your ipod or buy a cheap 2.5" hard drive for your PC.
well the permanently attaching part isn't bothering me...i could find some way to get it to stay attached...the thing im wondering is the connection part...if its possible to have it be a perm. second hd
That is the 'make'. Seeing as it is indeed a Toshiba drive, you can use it with that enclosure. If it were Hitachi, you obviously couldn't.
skllcandy, you didn't tell us that the drive was toshiba. you posted enclosures for toshiba & hitachi so that is why i posted about finding out the make of the drive.
