hi guys after downloading my fav show of the moment a little early before it gets released here in the uk im suddenly having problems. for some reason it now asks me to download Dom player has anyone heard of this or had the same problem??

I got the same prob.I just d/l a tv show about the goings on in Sona but when I went to play it with media player it says I need to download "Domplayer".
I d/loaded domplayer but then it asks you to send a £1.50 text message to get registration key to activate the player.
I am now searching web for a keygen.

Got Same problem here and I search the net to know more about this player and all i found is that domplayer is a malware.So don't download and install it.And many file that need domplayer are junks. you can use 3wplayer Decoder to decript the file and find out if it's the real thing or junk file. you can find the decoder here [url=http://wildman-productions.org/]

can't use it unless you get net framework what the he;ll is it.

Anyway Domplayer is not real its loike the other one 3wplayer that's fake too.

These guys posted a fix for the affected files. The header is offset so most players can't render the video.

They have a program there - no spyware - no bs that repairs the file and corrects the offset. It takes like 20 seconds. They also tell you not to bother with those files because most of them are fake, and some are even blank files.

look at it like this any file that you download that says that you have to use a special player for it you are seting your self up for a bad time most of the times the files are fake

I downloaded hitman, beowulf, and a few other recent movies, all want this domplayer, and it says its free. But when you get to the site, they want $3US. $3 is no big deal but you download a movie for nothing, not knowing you cant use your regular resources and have
to use this one. A really stinky way to do business, if you call it business. And there is no way of knowing when you are at piratebay or h33t or wherever, you cant tell if the download is real or not.
Darn i miss demonoid!!!! At least there they have actual replies from other users so you can spot a ripoff!!

Can these downloaded movies actually be what they are supposed to be and any way to fix them? Does that fix listed above work?

Another thing, at their site, i went to "contact us". YOu cant, the only thing is a "ticket" and you have to give your personal info. LIke i am gonna do that to a bunch of ripoff artists. So there is really no effective way to contact these jerks.
When you click to play the movie you get a message saying you have to get the FREE domplayer but when you get to their site they want money. The first sign that they are thieves! Its not the money, its the way they are doing things that is wrong!! Making you download an 800 mb movie first before they tell you they want money!!
I hope the dowload sites ban these people.

I never had that problem when i was at demonoid, then they were forced to kick out Canadians so i used a proxy, then they went offline so i had to move around. At Demonoid we never had that crap so i never knew there even was all this crap around, until now.
Now i will have to be careful.
Anyway, i fixed one of them and sure enuf it was porn, second rate at that.

it is kinda like this when you see a film that just came out to the theather, and it is a rip or something like that, there is a sucker born every second, always make sure that you read the comments before you download any file, that way you will know if it is boggas or not

Most of the Torrent files are marked as things they aren't I have a friend that every time he downloaded a movie torrent it would be fake.

there are other sources that have real movies, and you just have to know what torrents are good. any way good luck

Its easy saying not to dl the files but they dont have a ad at the beginning telling you need such and such a player .... its only after 6hrs of waiting and playing the .avi .rm that you get the pop-up "Can no longer play".

I must have been lucky this passed 3yr, never had a problem since 2 days ago when a movie in a .rar requested money for the password to unpack. Now this morn I have this Dom player palaver, and by the sounds of things there's no guarantee the 800MB will be what I was expecting.

ps. Yes, yes! before someone else says it ...... If you will mess around with torrents.

You know, swog, you are ABSOLUTELY right. I dont have much of a right to bitch and complain about this when i dont even post a notice to warn others. You make a very good point and i am guilty. I will start putting notices if this happens to me again.

Like someone already said, it appears to be a legitimate torrent. There is no way to tell its a ripoff unless someone has posted a notice in the
replies.
In some cases it shows that a few hundred people have downloaded this file, yet there are no replies for us to read, no way to know if its a good file or not.
I have to say this: By no means pay these people any money. I cant believe that someone would actually pay any money when its supposed to be a free download. That should have been their clue things were wrong.

same here what can they achive from it nothing but as above YES Evryone should leave a comment as too how,quality etc.I am a X Demonid member with lots off fiinvite codes Not that they will be back the govurning body has stopped all there servers movement from the last2 places they reset in.But rumour has it that they will be back but using moscow servers,,I really hope its true and all the outside russian servers are not subject to europeian law or servers Colinid2
