Need clarification....

    I am confused about the core 2 duo proccesor. I was looking on a site about buying a desktop and it says it has (2) 2.4GHz processors. Does that meen they are like combined so they would actually be a 4.8GHz processor in the computer. So if anyone can clarify this for me that would be great.
