I have just bought a new Samsung PDP plasma tv which is HD ready. we currently have no hd source. however, the picture quality is really poor compared to out old crt 28 inch job. we have no special leads etc at the moment. so, my quaestion is, what do we need to do to improve the qaulity of the picture, apart from messing around with the presets, ie contrast etc? all help is apprerciated

Get an HD source! Even if that means via a roof mounted antenna.

That's not saying anything. Poor in what regards? Have you hooked up a DVD player, with component cables, and how does that look playing a commercial DVD?
