I need to know if the core 2 duo porocessor is like 2 processors combined like (2) 2.5GHz processors are really like 5GHz. or if it means it is just a 2.5GHz processor. So can anyone clarify on this i would appreciate it. THX

It's two processors combined, but it does not equal 2x 2.5Ghz = 5Ghz. This will only be true for programs that support dual cores (some but not many), and it will never be quite double. What it will let you do is run two programs at the same time, both getting the same speed as if they had a 2.5Ghz processor all to themselves.
