DVD wont play

    Hi
    I have been downloading movies from Limewire and using convertxdvd to burn them to dvd.. When I tried to play them on my dvd player ( panasonic) some play just fine and others I get an error message saying cannot playback due to playback restrictions...

    Any idea how to avoid that. I hate to use up DVD that I cannot watch. Yet they play on my pc... What am I doing wrong.

    ANy help will be greatly appreciated.

    what type of dvd are you using?

    the regular cheapy dvd-rw 2 hrs....I do not understand why some will play and other don't

    could be that are using dvd-rw they are a bit iffy
    try dvd-r
