what is the purpose for this computer? gaming? or simply stuff like movie editing and such. if this is for high end games id suggest getting a higher graphics card.

If you don't add shipping and taxes then the total comes up to about $705. Even if you live in California and add the state sales tax and shipping then it would total about $793. Then you get about $45 in mail in rebates so that actually drops the price even more. I like the computer case because it comes with 2-120mm fans and is tooless and has vents everywhere and is easy to mod if you wish to create a side window or drill more holes for ventillation I chose the motherboard because it allows for more upgrading possiblities. It supports SLI if you ever plan in the future to do so, has built in wi-fi and supports DDR-2 1066 (OC). It is fairly overclockable and very durable. I picked the video card because it supports Direct X10 and SLI. Plus there is a $20 mail n rebate. I picked the PSU because it is made by are reliable company, it has great reviews, supports SLI, has 550watt supply, is PFC active and has a lot of connections(although it only has 2 SATA connections) Picked the Cpu fan because you need one then that stock fan plus their is a mail in rebate. The harddrive is fast and quiet, 16mb cache. The Ram I picked has a CAS Latency of 4-4-4-12, is very overclockable and stable, has nice color heatsink and has mail in rebate and is almost $30 cheaper without the mail in rebate then the RAM you chose. CPU I chose is very oveclockable,1333FSB and just great. Nothing else needs to be said. With that CPU fan I suggested you can get it up to 3.0 fairly easily with no voltage modification. If you still chose to add Vista then you can get the Vista Ultimate 64bit for about $180 and still be cheaper then your system and will be even cheaper if you live in a state that if shipped to you will not be charged with sales tax. Personally I would get XP Pro SP2 and dual boot with Ubuntu Linux to take advantage of all your components.
Last time I heard, people didn't trust rosewill PSUs all that much. Plus I would go with the Gigabyte motherboard myself, it will probably be a better overclocker and a better performer. Also I wouldn't get the 8600 GT, but other than that everything looks fine.
