Plan for Cat5e connection for XBox

    Just a question here.

    I want to hook up to XBOX live and have CAT5e cable run. I dont know how i should connect the CAT5 cable. Im just going from the modem straight to the XBOX. Should i use a straight through A,B or crossover. Would i keep it the same when i get a router? Any help would be great.
